      • Manage the modeling of guarantee products and financial projection/risk metrics;

      • Supervise team members to ensure timely and accurate valuation of MPF/ ORSO funds and retail unit trusts; and accounting reconciliation;

      • Provide legal advisory and regulatory support for retirement and unit trust products.  These include, among other things, drafting, reviewing and making changes to constitutive documents establishing the products as well as to the marketing documents and materials of the products;

      • Liaise with relevant regulators.  Handle (i) application to regulators for products to be approved/authorized for sale in Hong Kong; (ii) application to regulators for changes to products and the constitutive documents and/or marketing documents and materials;

      • Draft and review various kind of commercial contracts and legal documents. Assist on company secretarial work including prepare board resolutions and the relevant documentations, filing of corporate documents;

      • Keep abreast of regulatory updates in the MPF, mutual fund and insurance industries as well as other changes in laws and regulations that might impact the company’s business. Advise on the appropriate actions need to be taken;

      • Provide support to the Legal team, and the Compliance where necessary, as assigned to him/her from time to time.

    • Requirements:

       

      • Lawyer qualified in Hong Kong with 3-6 years post qualification experience. Lawyers qualified in other common law jurisdictions may also be considered;

      • Experience in financial services industry is preferred;

      • Have experience in the MPF industry and knowledge of the SFC and MPF codes, rules and regulations is an advantage;

      • Experience in corporate and commercial work including reviewing different kind of agreements (such as service agreements with vendors, subscription agreements, investment management agreements);

      • Proven experience in drafting and dealing with regulators;

      Assist in planning and implementing a wide range of external and internal communication initiatives including corporate communications, media relations, corporate event management, and sponsorship. Responsibilities include but not limited to,
