Fraudsters have continued to post false information online, falsely claiming that Principal owns, operates, or is associated with an AI quantitative investment and trading platform, in an attempt to defraud unsuspecting investors.

We recently become aware of a suspicious WeChat account “信安AI量化交易” (no official English name provided), which falsely claims to be associated with Principal and to hold a license from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). We hereby clarify that such claims are entirely false and factually incorrect.

We hereby clarify and declare that Principal does not own, operate, endorse, or have any association whatsoever with any such investment or trading platform, including any related mobile applications, and has not authorized any third party to conduct such activities in its name. Principal has no affiliation whatsoever with the above-mentioned WeChat account or any similar entities. Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant. Please do not believe in or respond to any suspicious messages, and do not disclose any personal information or make any fund transfers to unverified third parties.
